The work on this project involves renovation of a 1950’s style National Guard Armory to meet the current Military standards.
This project includes complete new finishes throughout the interior of the building, new HVAC systems and controls, upgraded electrical fixtures and equipment, new mass notification system and fire alarm, an overbuilt standing seam metal roof, and a new grand entry giving the building a presence. The project is currently nearing completion, ahead of schedule.
The project involved the renovation of a 1960’s style National Guard Armory to meet current anti-terrorist and military standards. Specific work included site work to comply with anti-terrorist guides for public stand off, energy conservation measures, new exterior facade, overbuilt metal roof, interior remodel with new finishes, offices, meeting rooms, kitchen and toilet rooms and new mechanical, electrical and data/com systems.
The work of this project included installation of a metal over-build roof system, infill and replacement existing windows., insulating exterior walls, removal and replacement of all heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, installation of new electrical system including data and communication system, miscellaneous site and building improvements to meet DOD Antiterrorism standards.
